The central street of Yekaterinburg - The Main Avenue - has always been one of the popular subjects in the art of Alexey Efremov. In his works, the artist focuses on the various parts of the Main Avenue and architectural monuments found there. From 1723, the Main Avenue (also known as Lenina Street since 1919) was referred to as one of the streets on the territory of the first fortress of the Yekaterinburg factory. Remaining the main street of the city, the Main Avenue crosses the old city of Yekaterinburg from West to East. It remains the popular place for sightseeing and strolls both among the citizens and guests of Yekaterinburg to date. The artist Alexey Efremov creates a poetic image of the Main Avenue by painting it at different seasons, after the rain, during a sunny day or at sunset.
